1. Introduction

RST4000 is a 1/2 "capacitive high precision free field microphone especially for audio test. RST4000 applies to free field acoustic measurement, it is a pre-polarization microphone, the back plate of the microphone is made of the special material, which can store a certain quantity of electric charge and make permanent electric field formed between diaphragm and back plate, does not require external polarization voltage in the using process.

This is a very durable free field microphone, which can adapt to the harsh environment. The ambient temperature range is from -20 to 100 degrees Celsius. Humidity range is from 0 to 100%, to ensure the accuracy and stability.

RST4000 free field microphone includes a 1/2 " constant current preamplifier, which requires a stable constant voltage and constant current supply.
